Lubrication system

Lubrication system is that system which reduces the friction from moving parts and remove the heat from the engine. 

Funtions of lubrication system:

• It reduces the friction.
• It removes the heat from engine
• It removes the carbon from engine gallery  and store into the oil sump.

Major parts of lubrication system:

1. Oil sump (oil pan )
2. Stainer 
3. Oil pump
4. Oil filter
5. Oil gallery

These are the major parts of engine lubrication system. Lubrication system is very necessary to move a engine. If vehicle lubrication system doesn,t work engine works stop after 5 minute.

Major precautions about lubrication system:

1. Check the engine oil level  when you start the engine.
2. Fill the excellent quality of  engine oil in the vehicle.
3. Do the proper sevicing of vehicle included engine oil, coolant, brake oil also.

Engine oil Servicing in the vehicle :

• Place a vehicle of hard or plane surface.
• Open the bonnet of vehicle
• Open the cap of engine and place it properly
• Then remove the drain plug  of  sump
• Then remove the old engine oil and empty the oil sump properly
• Then insert the drain plug properly
• Then fill the new engine oil  with proper grade
• Then close the engine cap
• Then start the vehicle and check the leakages if their is leakages then check and remove it.

How to change the oil Filter ??

• Place a vehicle in hard surface
• Switch off the engine
• Then put a oil filter wrench and loosening the oil filter slowly
• Oil comes from filter
• Place a oil container below the engine
• And remove the oil filter from engine
• Then adjust a new oil filter with oil filter wrench
• Then start the engine and check the leakages.
